Nice relaxed camping field with picnic tables and fire pits. It’s a 5 min walk to the bus stop providing options for travel to Swanage, Poole, Lulworth Cove and beyond. After seeing a show, we jumped on a bus outside the Lighthouse Theatre which took us all the way back to the campsite. The cycle ride down to RSPB Arne was lovely.- M
One of the most beautiful and quiet sites we have been too.The site has two very modern loos and showers with plenty of hot water. The owner will come around and drop logs if you need them for fires as well as fire pits for an extra charge, he couldn't be more friendly and happy to help and was more concerned with having happy campers over profits from a packed site. Each pitch is large and has about 10-15m between them, I think in total there must be somewhere around 15 pitches in total which ensure plenty of space. The local town of Wareham is about a twenty minutes walk away and the closet pub is a five minute walk, everything you would need can be gotten in town with a large Sainsbury's and plenty of local offerings available.I could not give a more positive review towards a site and it's owner, the work he's done is incredible and we hope to return in the future for some more peaceful times.- Jordan and B
Hot weather so space and peace were very welcome. Unique clean toilets and showers. Great to hear the birds and watch the sheep. Kings Arms welcoming pub down the road. Very pleasant off road walk into Wareham.Thank you - Elizabeth D
